I have been with Elders for 24 years, working initially from the Ararat Branch under the guidance of two very experienced agents, albeit livestock agents. I initially had to cut my teeth in the industry by initiating a residential sales focus as the office previously had rural sales focus. In 2015 I was offered a Franchise which I accepted with open arms. I purchased the rent roll, and with my wife Julie as Office Manager, David in sales and Gaylene and Mick in Property Management we started the journey.

Since then Gaylene has become Office Manager, Mick has joined David in residential sales and we have two new faces in Brooke and Jess working in Property Management. I have moved with my passion and am concentrating on rural sales in the area. Over time I have sold numerous properties and been awarded, elite status, on three occasions in the last 4 years.

Experience gained over this period helps me achieve the highest prices for my vendors and creates as little stress as possible, which makes each sale both enjoyable and rewarding for all parties.

As a Principal, I manage the Elders Ararat office team as well as looking after a wide range of clients.

I have lived in Ararat for most of my life, being a fairly active sportsperson in the town. I have a long standing involvement with the Ararat Football Club and also enjoy my Golf and Bowls at the Chalambar Golf & Blowls Club. It is at Chalambar that I am currently the Bowls President and on the Board of the Club.

I have sold everything from apartment blocks to family homes, including many large scale farms to Historical Homesteads along the way.

In our short time in the Franchise, my office has won numerous awards, 12 in total. Heading the list, we were No 1 office in our first year and Gaye was the Property Manager of the Year. On top of this we have won multiple sales awards as well. We have a strong data base and try to match property with people in every sale.
